I tried to think back to how it all began…
When I first started "cupcaking", it was when a friend offered me an innocent little vanilla variety with the "low-fat" glace fondant … not! Then, after a month obsessing over the butterfly cakes with the lemon curd, I graduated to the chocolate types you know the ones: dense and velvety with the Mr Whippy-style chocolate toppings that get stuck to the top of the box and scream out, "Lick me! Lick me! Lick me!" And before I could say "Mini macaroon", I had a big, sugary blob of butter cream icing on my face.
