Q. Friends unexpectedly drop by and you ask them to stay for dinner. What do you cook?
A. Pasta with some kind of instant sauce with lots of fresh herbs and good parmesan.
Q. What's your favourite Friday night meal and where will you eat it
home or out?
A. Eggs any way, but usually an omelette at home.
Q. For a romantic night in or out, what's on the menu?
A. Romantic nights are in short supply these days.
Q. What's your favourite indulgence food?
A. Good bread.
Q. What food couldn't you live without?
A. Tomatoes.
Q. What's your favourite health food?
A. Lentils.
Q. If you could have five foods on a desert island, what would they be?
A. Parmesan, herbs, tomatoes, pasta, salt and pepper (counted as one).
Q. What's your favourite restaurant?
A. Buon Ricordo.
Q. Have you ever eaten with anyone famous?
A. Too many to recall.
Q. What dishes are in your repertoire?
A. Mostly cakes. I'm a baker.
Q. What sort of food do you eat when you're stressed with a deadline?
A. Jelly snakes.
Q. What food would you quite happily never eat again?
A. Witchetty grubs.
Q. Do you think food and wine matching is overrated?
A. Yes, drink what you like.
Q. What's the most memorable meal you've eaten overseas?
A. Whole octopus cooked in olive oil in Spain.
Q. What's one ingredient you always have in your pantry?
A. Pasta.
