By Holly

Serving size: Serves 8
Cuisine type: Indian
Cooking time: Less than 30 minutes
Course: Entree
Favourite flavours: Spicy

A tasty snack!
INGREDIENTS

1 Clove Garlic
2 teaspoons of curry powder
250 grams of minced beef or lamb
Oil for frying pan
1 Carrot
1 Capsicum
Pastry Sheets
Egg
1 Potato finely diced
1 cup of frozen peas

METHOD

1. Chop up all the vegetables.

2. Heat the oil in the frying pan.

3. Add the garlic and fry until soft.

4. Cook in the mince until nice and brown.

5. Add all the vegies in and cook. Carrots will take longer to cook.

6. Add in the curry powder.

7. Cut up your pastry sheets into either 6 (which will make finger food) or 3 (that will make a bigger meal).

8. Spoon the mixture onto the cut up pastry sheets. Be careful not to spoon on too much mixture, a little is all you will need!

9. Fold over the pastry sheets so it looks a bit like a triangle. Firm down the edges with a fork, this will make the presentation look better and help to keep the filling to stay in properly.

10. Once all the mixture is gone, crack open an egg and whisk. Then use the brush to coat the top of the samosas.

11. Put into the oven and cook until golden brown. 12. Eat and enjoy!!!!
