Strawberries on toast

Strawberries on toast
INGREDIENTS

Serves 4
Prep time 5 minutes
Standing time 1 hour
Cooking time 1 minute

2 punnets strawberries, halved and sliced
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
4 thick slices wholegrain or turkish bread, toasted
2 teaspoons caster sugar

METHOD

1. In a bowl, combine strawberries with balsamic vinegar. Cover with cling film and macerate for 1 hour.

2. Top toast with strawberries and sprinkle with sugar. Grill for 1 minute, until glazed.

Tips: Wash and dry strawberries before hulling.
