Green beans with almonds

Green beans with almonds
INGREDIENTS

500g green beans, trimmed
50g butter
½ cup (70g) slivered almonds

METHOD

1. Cook beans in a saucepan of boiling, salted water for 4-5 minutes, until just tender. Drain.

2. Meanwhile melt butter in a frying pan on low heat until just beginning to brown. Add almonds and beans and toss for 1-2 minutes. Season to taste and serve with Roast Turkey.

Tip 1: You will need approximately 1/3 cup uncooked rice to yield 1 cup of cooked.
